The Mediterranean. A sea of Nature, History, Culture.
We can live off this legacy without destroying natural resources. This is the road that leads to the future of the 430 million people inhabiting our coasts. This is the gamble of the Mediterranean Strategy for Sustainable Development, approved in Slovenia in 2005 by the 21 Mediterranean Countries and the European Community. This is the gamble of the Barcelona Convention.
